Day 6

I think next week I will change the titles of these posts.

I am very thankful it's Friday. I need a day where I don't have to wake up to my alarm, and I really pray my daughter holds true to her sleeping in until 8:30/9ish each morning.

My daughter and I took a walk today. We went around the block twice. She rode her bike one time around. It was beautiful outside. She threw a fit when I told her it was time to come inside because it was dark out. She LOVES the outdoors. Thankfully, each day it is staying a little bit lighter longer.

We finished painting the basement tonight. I can't even wait for the final product! I will post pictures when it's done. Trim, carpet, tv, shelf, furniture, then it's done, well almost...then I get to decorate. I can't wait until it is done, and I can sit back and start to read in my evenings again. Right now, it's been so busy trying to finish the playroom.

Tomorrow we are having a family day. I can't wait. A little shopping, some playing, dinner. I love when we 3 get to hang out together. My daughter is so used to it being either daddy or mommy, when I walk in the door from work, she waves bye and says "bye bye" to daddy. It breaks my heart. There aren't too many evenings/weekends lately that we've all been together. We are making it a point. Well, I am. Family is important. Memories are important.

I can't believe how late it is. I need to get to bed.
