Well, I know I just posted yesterday, but last night Tony and I drove past our house to see what was going on, and to our surprise, the second floor had been framed!!!! I don't have much to say except, oh-my-gosh!!!!! We are soooo excited. I can't even wait til we are living there. Here are some pics:

Come and Gone

Christmas has already come and gone. We had a wonderful time. We went to Florida a few weeks ago and had Christmas with Tony's mom and sister and brother and their families. That was wonderful. We spent a few days down there and then almost got stuck because of the storm in the north east, but to our rescue came a private jet that was lent to us to fly home on. I know what you are thinking...we are a big deal...and you are right! Ha!

Chrismas eve morning Tony called me nice and early and I went over to his house for breakfast.Like the little boy Tony is, he then jumped around asking to open presents. I gave in, of course, and we had a wonderful time of opening each other's presents. I got so many great things from him, he really spoiled me this year, after I specifically remember the conversation of not doing much for Christmas since we are getting married and building a house! One of my favorite presents from him was tickets to a Yankees game in Toronto. I can't even wait. We can pick any game we want! It will be so much fun, baseball, Toronto, and my baby, three of my favorite things! (Pictures to come)

Christmas eve day we went to Tony's brothers and had a wonderful dinner and time of family. We exchanged presents there and played with the kids. We left that evening to go to my mom's house to have Christmas eve with my dad's side of the family. It was a busy day and didn't end until about 2am. (Pictures to come)

Christmas morning we woke up at my mom's and opened presents with my neice and my mom. My mom made a delicious breakfast for us and then we decorated some Christmas cookies. It was so much fun! Tony said he didn't remember ever decorating cookies before, so he got pretty creative. It was just wonderful. I had to make a few desserts for my Grandma's later that day and then we were off to my Grandma's. We did dinner and presents there with my aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. and then headed back to Rochester. We got home late last night and all I wanted to do was sleep for a long time, but to my chagrin, I had to come to work today. bah humbug! (Pictures to come)

It was a wonderful Christmas season for me this year. One to remember always, as it's the last Christmas I will ever have before I am married. I can't wait for the months to come, as well as the Christmas' to come!

Our 1 year anniversary!

Sunday was our 1 year anniversary. We planned on just spending the day together, making a special dinner together, and drinking the wine our friends got us for our engagement. It was very romantic, and a wonderful day. After church I went to Anthony's house, we watched some t.v. then played dominoes. It's such a fun game, and my family LOVES it! We made dinner together, and it was the most delicious meal I have ever had. We were laying on the couch and watching "Jon and Kate plus 8"...my favorite show, when a fire came over the radio that was near by, so in my lounge clothes and dress shoes we jumped into Anthony's truck and sped off to the fire. It was a good one to see, flames coming out of the windows. I felt so bad for the family that lived there because that house is definately no longer liveable. I told Anthony to tell people I was his sister because he couldn't own up to marrying me the way I looked. I was embarrassed for him! Pink pajama pants that were more like capri's, black dress shoes, and my wool p-coat. Nice...where were the trucks with the straight jackets? Cause they should have picked me up the way I looked!

Home Sweet Home

Well, I started this blog thinking that I would faithfully write in it weekly, if not more than that. Apparently, I was mistaken. I seem to not have time to write anything down, and when I do, I can think of nothing that is worthy of noting. Well....not this time!!! Anthony and I are building a house in Chili to be done before our wedding. We have been very excited, getting to pick out everything from where they will dig the hole, to what kind of plumbing will go into the house, to the color of siding and the roof. It's been so much fun. For a little background, a friend of Anthony's and his family are building 4 lots down, and a friend of this guy already lives in the development. We were originally supposed to break ground in December, but got a call the Wednesday before Thankgiving that they would break ground on Wednesday the 28th. We were so excited!!! I couldn't believe it was all coming to head and we would actually be starting all this process we've been talking about for so many months. Tuesday morning, Anthony got a phone call from his friend who's building down the road from us saying that they are digging our basement as they speak. What?!? Apparently, the guy who already lives in the development called Anthony's friend to tell him, and he in turn called us. Already, neighbors watching out for us! I thought a new neighborhood would come with SOME privacy!!! We dropped what we were doing to go check it out. It was so awesome. Yesterday the finished the basement, and we got to go check that out as well. It was so fun and exciting to watch. Here's a few pics:

Game Over!

My week from hell is finally over. It was one crazy week here at good ole P4K. Working all day, CPR training a few nights, sign language class one night, and finally it's Friday. Tonight my baby and I are going on a "hot date", and then picking our honeymoon, and planning out our wedding plans for the next week. We are a few OCD, goal oriented persons, so this is all fun for us...I know, I know.

Tomorrow my bridesmaids and I are going to go to David's to pick out and order the bridesmaid's dresses. I can't wait! My flower girl is going to be there as well. So much fun! Then Sunday is a day of making some templates for our invitations. So exciting!

My cousin finally had her baby! Yea! He was 2 weeks and one day late! Stubborn little guy, actually BIG guy! He weighed in at 10lbs 8oz! He was 23in long. Wendy is a CHAMP. That's all I gotta say about that! Here's a pic:

Well, not that interesting of a blog, but I do have to say, life is a bit to busy to be interesting too, and I didn't want to go too much longer before writing again on here. I'll try for interesting next time.

All good things must come to an end!

Well, my vacation officially ends in 10 hours and 52 minutes. I will return to work tomorrow morning, while excited, a little remorseful that the fun filled days of sleeping in, waking up to a home cooked breakfast that I didn't have to make, and the temperature in the mid-80's is now over. My cousin did NOT do as directed, and is still "with child". She's now a week overdue and I didn't get to meet Malachi. Looks like I will have to wait until my wedding :o( We are praying she goes before Thursday because she doesn't want to be induced, and they are looking to induce her if she doesn't go by Thursday. She is so pregnant, I don't know how the poor girl can stand without falling over. She is all baby, and all forward carrying.

Anyways, our vacation was nice. We didn't have a set plan except for spend a lot of quality time with family. We played games, ate, went to the beach, visited with family, played more games. I warned Tony before we went that we are a game family. We can sit around and play games for hours. I don't know that he believed me. Even after day 2, and we were still playing lots of games, he figured it was just because he was there. But my aunt and I assured him, we weren't doing anything special just because he was there ;o) that's just the kind of people we are. We LOVE games. Tony got hooked on a few fun ones, Golf, and Up the River-Down the River. And by hooked I mean since we got home we've been a little busy and couldn't sit down to play a game until yesterday, and he sat down stating "I can't believe you made me wait 2 days to play this game!". Ha....he's officially part of our family!

You've GOT to be kidding me!?!

You have GOT to be kidding me! Who comes up with this stuff? Can I get paid to make ridiculous theories? I am pretty sure that as mature adults, we can express our feelings just fine with appropriate language, as well as develop social relationships without any hiccups. I don't know who the researchers were on this quest, but I am pretty sure, under my right to make ridiculous theories as well, that these researchers polled people with a very narrow vocab, and who weren't hugged enough as a child.

Testing, testing, is this thing on?

This blogging thing is new to me. My family started one on another site, but I have come to like this site from all those whose blogs I read on here. We'll see how well I keep up with this. I don't have too much extra time to write about my life, plus I'm a strong proponent of talking to those who I want to know about my life. I have come to realize though, that those that matter most to me are scattered all over the earth now and making that many phone calls just isn't possible anymore.

I get to leave to go on vacation Friday morning. While I am NOT excited about having to be at the airport at 5am, I am excited that Thursday night at 9pm I am done working for 10 straight days! I haven't had a vacation in a year, and it's starting to show. I really do love my job, I've just hit my 7 year anniversary mark here this past September. I love the families I work with, the children, and the staff. It just becomes a bit much to do the same thing over and over and over again, everyday for a year. I took a few days off here and there this summer because my fiance's mother and neice were up for a month visiting. It's just not the same as going away and having an extended amount of time off. I think for my sanity, and my relationship survival, I really really really need this! I also can't wait to see my family. I haven't seen them in about 2 years. Maybe that doesn't seem like too much time, but growing up I got to see my family 2 or 3 times a year, and family is VERY important to me!
